Minimum Selection Criteria:
- United States Citizen, national or lawful permanent resident
- High School diploma, GED equivalency or commitment to earn a diploma or GED equivalency prior to using the Education Award
- Have not previously served two terms in an AmeriCorps*State or National program. Members may serve up to three terms in a National Service Program, but only two terms may be within an AmeriCorps*State or National program. Members are only eligible for an education award for their first two terms of service, regardless of the type of term (full or part-time) and regardless of the successful completion of that term.
- If you have served two previous terms of service in a national service program such as but not limited to, NCCC, AmeriCorps, VISTA, please contact one of our recruiters (link to Contacts page) as you may not be eligible for all of the benefits offered to our members.
- Lower Columbia Center: Age 18 and up for full-time members; 21 and up for team leaders
- Mt. Adams Center: Age 21 and up for members and leaders
