Northwest Service Academy will help your non-profit, school, or agency “Get things Done!”

Be A Partner!Partner with us. Our services are accessible, effective, and affordable.

We develop the next generation of conservation, environmental, and human needs professionals. Whether your organization’s focus is public land enhancement, ecological restoration, environmental service-learning, or community strengthening; our members’ leadership, drive, skill, and passion will deliver the service you require.

Most importantly, our members will positively impact your organization and surrounding community in ways that far outlast their period of service.

We tailor our services to your need. We help you choose the most appropriate service solution we offer. Then we customize our partnership to make our service as effective as possible. Our basic solutions are:

Field Teams are groups of 4-10 AmeriCorps members who serve together for their entire 11-month term of service. Field teams can serve with project sponsors on short projects or long-term projects in a dedicated manner. Team projects primarily focus on watershed restoration, public lands enhancement, environmental education and community strengthening.

Individual Placements are individual AmeriCorps members who are placed with a sponsoring agency either independently or in small groups full-time for their entire term of service. Sponsoring agencies develop the project our member will be dedicated to, assist with applicant recruitment and provide daily guidance and supervision of their member(s).

Professional Placement (P2) recruits highly qualified men and women to serve on compelling, environmentally focused projects. These 11 month AmeriCorps positions offer participating organizations access to highly valued and specialized skill sets, such as GIS, planning and statistical analysis, grant writing, and other organizational process skills.

LINKS places individual AmeriCorps members with sponsors working on projects focusing on the environment, education, public safety, or other human needs. Members typically serve full-time for shorter periods or part-time for up to a year. Proposals are accepted year-round on a first-come, first-served basis. We can review your proposal in just a few days and have your member started within a month or less! Sponsoring agencies develop the project our member will be dedicated to, assist with applicant recruitment and provide daily guidance and supervision of their member(s).
