Northwest Service Academy’s Legacy, since 1994:

Northwest Service Academy (NWSA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization administered by Educational Service District 112 in Vancouver, WA.

Environmental Service that matters to the communities we serve.
Experience that makes a difference in the lives of our members.
Growth and achievement of our partner organizations.

Making a Difference, “Getting things Done!” During the 2006-2007 Program Year, over 90% of Northwest Service Academy (NWSA) members surveyed reported their civic engagement and participation skills were “above average” because of their NWSA experience. This confidence was developed by their following accomplishments:

Donate Now!Your tax-deductible donation supports our efforts to build community, develop leaders, and restore our environment. Use your credit card to make an online donation. If you prefer to write a check, make it payable to "NWSA" and mail to:

The NWSA Legacy Fund was established in 2004 by a group of individuals interested in investing in the growth and long-term sustainability of NWSA.

Your tax-deductible donation to the Legacy Fund helps ensure Northwest Service Academy will continue to build community through projects that restore and preserve the environment and allow our members and partners to grow as community leaders. Individuals who serve with NWSA make a commitment to a lifetime of service. As a result, your investment lasts a lifetime and contributes to community and environmental preservation wherever NWSA alumni go… be it in the northwest, across our nation, and around the world. To donate to the Legacy Fund, designate your online donation or make your check payable to “NWSA Legacy Fund.”

NWSA receives funding for its AmeriCorps programs from Educational Service District 112 (ESD112) through a grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service. NWSA also funds its programs through other grants, charging fees for its services, and individual contributions. Last year, Pacific Northwest Communities provided support to NWSA programs by providing $1,050,450 in cash match and $1,132,598 in in-kind contributions. Northwest Service Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation formed under the laws of the state of Washington.
